So what is clean beauty? This is what I found as possible definitions.

"Clean Beauty is defined by products that are mindfully created and produced without any proven or suspected toxic ingredients. " - cleanbeautybox.com

Clean beauty means that a product is safe, non-toxic, and has transparent labeling of ingredients. Just because a product is organic, natural, or green, doesn't mean it's non-toxic. - Thegoodfaceproject.com

"The term popped up in the 1970s with CoverGirl’s “Clean Make-up” campaign, a reference to the fresh-faced, no-makeup look. Fast forward to the 2000s, and the word took on new meaning with the launch of skin-care lines such as the British brand Ren" - The Washington post

After reading a couple of different sources, I've come up with my own definition.

Clean beauty are products with naturally grown ingredients, straight from the farm to your face. Clean beauty is like making a homemade mask with fruits and vegetables you grew in your home garden. They are made for the people and in mind of the environment.

The FDA does not have to approve beauty products for them to be sold in big markets. Having very sensitive skin I read the ingredients on my beauty products and make sure my skin is ok with what I'm putting on it. After all more than half of the products you put on your skin gets in your body stream, so we all should all be very careful.

There are a bunch of different clean beauty brands and a bunch of brands that are now starting to sell clean beauty products. Some of them I'm affiliated with and I'm going to show you some amazing clean beauty products they made for you.

Naturalicious

founder and CEO of naturalicious Gwen Jimmere

"We got our start when our founder and CEO, Gwen Jimmere, found herself on the brink of becoming an unemployed single mom, after suddenly getting laid off while going through a grueling divorce. To generate income, she decided to start selling the products she made in her kitchen that when combined, miraculously cut her wash and style time down from 5 hours to a mere 30 minutes!"

The astonishingly simple 3 step process was enough to do the work of 12 products she had collecting dust underneath her sink. Taking the marketing skills she honed from her swanky corporate job as a Global Digital Marketing Director at Ford Motor Company, Gwen started Naturalicious and never looked back.

Naturalicious hair care

"The societal standard of beauty tells us that naturally curly, kinky, coily, or coarse hair is ugly, not desirable, and that it has to be tamed. We are told we should straighten our hair, or make it smoother, in order to be beautiful.

In fact, the hair that naturally grows out of our heads has been called "unprofessional" for decades, and "nappy" for centuries.

Women have literally been fired from their jobs just because of the way their hair grows, and the radical idea that they might actually wear it as God created it.

At Naturalicious, we exist to remind our customers that they are the standard of beauty, through our revolutionary products that make it easy for them to manage their hair and be confident in their own beauty. We are a company on a mission to eliminate the frustration, time and expense you have with your hair by creating easy-to-use products that turn your #WashDaystoWashMinutes."

Essence

"Essence was started by Christina, a fearless entrepreneurial woman, who wanted to make a different cosmetics brand – a really fun brand that offers both great quality and excellent prices."

"We’re a small team dedicated to bringing affordable, fun, and high quality products into the serious world of cosmetics. So why choose just one lipstick, eyeliner, nail polish, eye shadow, lip gloss, (you get the point!) when you can try them all?"

"Beauty is being who you are, who you want to be and having fun while doing it. We think real beauty with a real story is inspiring – which is why we love our consumers!

Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, it doesn’t have to be so serious, it should be fun."

Hero Cosmetics

Ju Rhyu is co-founder/CEO of Hero Cosmetics

"Ju Rhyu is co-founder/CEO of Hero Cosmetics. Hero Cosmetics was launched in 2017 with one product, Mighty Patch, as a test on Amazon. Now, Hero Cosmetics sells a box of Mighty Patch every 15 seconds in channels like Amazon, Target, DTC, Neiman Marcus, Goop, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and more."

Mighty patch

"Hero began in 2017 when I had yet another pimple emergency, but my sensitive skin had reached a breaking point with the harsh acids of the world. So I went looking, and found my issue wasn’t just my issue – a lot of people felt just the same." "Why wasn’t there a solution that worked with the skin, not against it? The stripping, the purging, the resurfacing, the ‘wait two weeks’ before the redness goes away. There had to be a better alternative. And so Mighty Patch was born. A gentle hydrocolloid patch I originally found in South Korea, that works with the skin to minimize pimples without stripping or agitating them. Just a patch, and time."

We should support each other and lift each other up not only for women's history month or International Women's Day but all year round!

Almost every adult and teen has gone through some sort of acne and some have worse experiences then others. I was some one who had a hard time. I got bullied by kids in my

Applying Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask on my Face how to get rid of acne scars 12 best acne scar treatment in 2022

classes and felt horrible as a young girl. It really is a very emotional experience as well as physical. I don't have it as bad as I had as a child, but I do still have dark spots and I do get those annoying hormonal zits. As you can guess I've tired a bunch of different skincare products. Some better than others but all made some kind of difference. I'm going to share with you the acne treatments I've tired and some I would try that can help you get rid of your stubborn acne scars! These products are all on amazon, who I'm affiliated with.

The first thing you can do is to start drinking water. If your thinking in your head, "really, water" yes, water. I'm going to be honest I don't drink enough water either, but when I do focus on getting my daily water in, I see a huge difference in my skin. We should all take advantage of the benefits natural water gives us. More than half of our bodies are made from it, so it all makes sense. If I drink water everyday it would probably clear my acne faster then some of these acne treatments. I've seen people say all they do is drink water and wash their face and that's why they've maintained clear skin, but I just can't let go of iced tea. Sugar is such a huge factor in why you can't clear those dark spots and why pimples just seem to come out of no where. I know all this and I'm still dealing with acne, I know it dumb but I'm taking baby steps. There's nothing wrong with trying and trying again. When the new year hit I ordered my self some label water bottles to keep me on track with my daily water. Amazon has a huge selection of water bottles with time stamps on them. You can find some really cute ones. Here's a few I thought are really cute. Shop all time water bottles here: https://amzn.to/33FM8pw

Face mask have always been my best friend, and I just enjoy putting on a face mask. The tightening mask are great because you can feel the effect of them instantly. Hydrating mask are amazing because I have oily skin and after doing a mask it will level the oil that comes out of my skin. I feel like alot of people sleep on face mask and just do cleaners, scrubs and toners. Here's a few face mask that I like:

I never used to use facial serums but when I started to I was happy I did. I started with shea moistures brighter days ahead serum, to help brighten my dark spots and even out my skin tone. You can read my full review here. I have a YouTube video show how I use brighter days ahead serum:

Here are some other great serums worth a try:

Adding these three things to your skincare routine can make a huge difference in your skin! I will focus on my water as much as I can to help with my skin, what's something you will do to help improve your skin? Write a comment down below! I struggle with maintaining my skin everyday, but I'm not going to put pressure on myself. I know my skin and pushing it to hard can end badly. So take your time trying products and finding what your skin loves.
